Hi, I’m Lei — a system architect and software engineer with 10+ years of experience building scalable platforms, infrastructure, and developer tools. I work at the intersection of AI infrastructure, developer tooling, and AI agents.
What I do
Today my focus is on AI inference platforms, infrastructure tooling, and distributed systems that support production-grade AI workloads — spanning architecture, deployment, and day-to-day operations. On the backend I’m polyglot — I build production systems in Go, TypeScript, Python, and Rust — and pick the language that fits the problem, not the other way around.
At Verda Cloud (formerly DataCrunch), I architected and built from scratch the inference and container serverless platforms, including the billing systems, so that humans and AI agents can both use our GPU cloud as first-class users.
Previously, I led architecture and backend development at Takomo.ai — a no-code AI platform for multimodal workflows — designing its cloud-native, serverless infrastructure and dynamic API system.
How I think about the work
I’m particularly interested in AI infrastructure, AI agents, and the tooling layer that makes advanced AI usable in real products. I enjoy designing systems for scale, reliability, and long-term maintainability, while staying close to fast-moving advances in the AI space.
Solo builder
I’m also an independent builder who enjoys creating products from zero to one. I care about building useful technology, moving fast with clarity, and turning complex ideas into practical systems with real impact.
